Nah, you don’t need a great website.

Nah, you don't need a great website

Nah, you don’t need a great website.

It’s not important. It’s extra. It is just one more thing to go wrong in your day—just another thing you will have to fix down the road. Probably more trouble than it’s worth. What pathways, what access, what new organic opportunities could it offer that you can’t get through a fax machine, telegraph, carrier pigeon or signal fire?

After all, this year has been stable … right?! Things are going pretty well … It’s not like we started 2020 with literally a whole continent on fire, experienced a global pandemic, found out there’s a BIRD-SIZED bug called a Murder Hornet and witnessed new activity in a previously inactive super volcano in Yellowstone.

Wait …

I mean, we never know what could come next, so less is more. Let’s just go through a few more things you don’t need—cut a bit of that dead weight out of your life—free up some time and energy so you can get to it with nothing but the essentials weighing you down.

Let’s start with access to good and healthy food. Don’t need it. I once lived off hotdogs for an entire summer when I was six … and you need fruits, vegetables, vitamins and minerals? For what? Healthy skin and hair, good gastrointestinal health, and, as a result,  better mental well being, reducing depression, anxiety and stress? Psssh!!!

Alright, what about water? I barely drink the stuff. I don’t know why I even pay my city for access to it. I had one cup of water when I was 13, at my dentist’s office, where I also received five fillings and a lengthy lecture on how Code Red Mountain Dew was not an acceptable or effective substitute for mouthwash. I didn’t see how they were related, so I told that nerd, “Whatever, nerd!” and rode home on my sweet BMX bike doing killer jumps the whole way.

Speaking of smart people trying to tell me what to do—literacy. Do you need it? Not to be awesome. Do you need to have a more complete understanding of the world around you or have the curiosity and drive it takes to gain an area of expertise that is of service to your community, society and the betterment of all mankind? Not me! I started out awesome and I’m going to finish awesome. I get up every day, look in the mirror and witness my own personal aura of greatness. What do I need words for? Am I supposed to read about far off lands and their histories to learn some greater lesson about not repeating the mistakes of those who came before? One time, a teacher lady asked me to name another country besides the United States of America, and I said, “Are we going to have a problem?”

THE POINT IS … ahem … serious voice … you need all these things to lead a normal happy life in a society that is healthy, gracious and responsible. None of what I mentioned above are optional. In business, neither is a great website. It is as necessary as the air you breathe or as a boat on the ocean. It will take you farther than you ever thought possible, give you the tools to not only survive but to thrive. A website is your front door to a wide online world where there was only an unscalable wall before.

We know this ongoing year hasn’t been easy, and it was difficult enough to run a company or business without this or that crisis to take into account. A well-built, dynamic website does more than give you a fresh online face. Excellent website development builds bridges, lays roads, clears a path towards the areas of your organizations that can provide your clients and candidates with high-quality, efficient service. They’re your resources and we can help you use them wisely.

At Recruiters Websites, we can help you open your business to wider audiences, but with targeted marketing and technology to ensure you maximize your resources. We build customized, high-quality online products that will present what you can offer your industry and the world. Pretty rad, huh?
